Our launching project is dedicated to the topic „Zentral“ / „Central“. Artist from Lucerne and other cities deal with the Bourbaki building and its function in the city centre and react to this situation with interventions in the Kunsthalle as well as in public space. The Kunsthalle takes advantage of the opportunity to collaborate with the other cultural institutions in the Bourbaki: Thus, Valerian Maly and Klara Schilliger’s opening performance will take place on the central turntable in the Bourbaki Bar – integrating 100 Co-actors. Heinrich Lüber will animate the historical panorama with his special enactment and Edith Flückiger created a scroll made out of anagrams, which will spread from the Kunsthalle on the ground floor to the glass facade of the City Library on the first floor.
